Mia O’Neill is a writer and editor from Virginia. Her work has appeared in Narrative Magazine, The Washington Post, and elsewhere. She holds a BA in English Literature from William and Mary and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction at Columbia University, where she teaches with Columbia Artist/Teachers and is at work on a short story collection. Prior to the MFA, she worked as a book publicist at Scribner, and she now serves as an assistant editor at Narrative. She lives in New York City.
